MCP Connector
When you connect WebSync Creative Analytics to an AI assistant (such as Anthropic's Claude or OpenAI's ChatGPT) via our MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://mcp.websync.ai/mcp, the following data flows occur:
Data we collect via the MCP connector
- OAuth authorization tokens issued by WebSync to the AI assistant on your behalf
- Tool invocation logs (tool name, timestamp, anonymized user ID, for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
- No campaign data, creative assets, or ad-network credentials are stored at the MCP layer. Every request is proxied to the WebSync Creative Analytics backend in real time.
How AI assistants use this data
- Anthropic (Claude) processes your request and the data we return per Anthropic's privacy policy. No training on your data unless you opt in.
- OpenAI (ChatGPT), same as above, governed by OpenAI's privacy policy.
We do not control, and are not responsible for, how the AI assistant processes data once returned. Review the assistant's own privacy policy.
Third-party data flows
When you invoke campaign or creative tools, WebSync proxies authenticated requests to:
- Google Ads API
- Meta Marketing API (Facebook / Instagram)
- Cointraffic API
- Adform API
These are governed by your existing WebSync ad-network linkage agreements.
Data retention
- OAuth tokens: stored in WebSync's secure token vault. Revoke any time at https://mcp.websync.ai/connections.
- Tool invocation logs: 30 days, aggregated and anonymized after that.
- No campaign or creative data is retained at the MCP layer.
